Mount Yotei is a 1,898-meter-tall mountain located within the Shikotsu-Toya National Park. It is a symbol of Niseko and cited as one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains. Due to its almost completely conical shape, it is often referred to as Ezo-Fuji. There are 4 hiking courses that can be accessed in summer and autumn. As the mountain is visible from multiple places around the Niseko area, taking a picture of your favourite spot on a fine, sunny day with it in the background is highly recommended. Additionally, the spring water that originates from Mount Yotei is recognized as one of the 100 Famous Japanese Waters.
