Ogawa, Uki once flourished as a post town along the old Satsuma Highway. Izumiya is located next to the Ogawa Aso Shrine, which stands in the corner of this historic town. The building was built in 1965 and operated as a restaurant named Izumiya. We have gradually renovated the original Izumiya building, and it now accommodates up to 4 guests at a time.■ information
